In the interest of developing and sustaining domestic human capital, the CCAM will commence a members’ only career resource center on its website, which will essentially act as a human resource catalyst for industry professionals.This career portal will function as a domestic on-line recruitment and job placement hub and will also serve overseas job seekers on the opportunities available in Malaysia.

The CCAM will also unveil its new headquarters and resource center in Damansara Heights which will serve as a gateway for the Malaysian Industry to the rest of the world and as a center of excellence for its members. This is due to open in March 2007.

Our first step in globalizing our domestic industry will be seen at the forums and workshops held during this years CCAM National Conference and Exhibition which is scheduled for the 26th and 27th of July in Kuala Lumpur. This event will showcase veteran global speakers and international workshop facilitators. This will crescendo with the Annual industry awards and gala dinner on the evening of July 27, 2007.

In the area of Government relations, the CCAM has planned several dialogues and CEO roundtable sessions with the relevant government agencies and ministries to establish and enhance a smooth two way communication process between the industry and its policy makers. This will allow members to be represented by a single compelling voice on a variety of critical issues, through the CCAM.

With all these and further in store for our members and industry players at large, I invite you now to be a part of our vibrant association. The CCAM cannot make a difference for theMalaysian industry if it does not receive the full support of its industry members, corporations and its vendor organizations.
